Sloane knows better than to cry in front of anyone. With suicide now an international epidemic, one outburst could land her in The Program, the only proven course of treatment. Sloane's parents have already lost one child; Sloane knows they'll do anything to keep her alive. She also knows that everyone who's been through The Program returns as a blank slate. Because their depression is gone but so are their memories.

Under constant surveillance at home and at school, Sloane puts on a brave face and keeps her feelings buried as deep as she can. The only person Sloane can be herself with is James. Hes promised to keep them both safe and out of treatment, and Sloane knows their love is strong enough to withstand anything. But despite the promises they made to each other, it's getting harder to hide the truth. They are both growing weaker. Depression is setting in.

And The Program is coming for them.

My Review:
I really enjoyed reading this. I love the idea of the story line.  The whole time while reading this I was rooting for Sloane and James to beat the odds, that may be the best part about this novel is how gripping it is. The author had a brilliant way of sucking you into the story and making it feel as if it was your life and you were going through these hardships. From beginning to end the reader is enticed into the story and it is so hard to put down this novel. I recently just found out that this is a duology and I plan on reading not only the second novel but also the novellas that going along with it. I liked this novel that much.

  1. Ahh! I'm so glad you enjoyed The Treatment Tayler! I actually have the second book, but not the first one so I can't read it yet. But the day I do, I know I'll just love it! It sounds like an amazing novel! n_n
